Mean Streak RMC Conversion Update #2: Steeper Lift Hill, More Track Removed, Additional Wood on Site

Mean Streak, a defunct wooden coaster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, is currently being converted into a steel-tracked I-Box hybrid coaster by Idaho-based coaster manufacturer Rocky Mountain Construction. Even though the park has not confirmed the conversion, many photos and other pieces of evidence, including teasers and acronyms formed from phrases provided by Cedar Point (i.e. Richard Michael Crosby = RMC), have given way to coaster enthusiasts speculating Cedar Point's giant wooden coaster would be redone by recently renown coaster manufacturer Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC). Here are some photos, courtesy of Ben Shawber, showing the progress of Mean Streak's conversion that were taken on December 10 of this year. The new coaster will have a steeper lift hill as seen in the photos below!
