Kentucky Kingdom Purchases New Philadelphia Toboggan Company Train for Thunder Run
Kentucky Kingdom, located in Louisville, Kentucky, has purchased a new train from Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters for their only wooden coaster, Thunder Run. The new train will be of the same design as the previous one, with low back head rests (compared to other wooden coasters), seat belts, and individual lap bars. The old train was red, and this new one is blue. This new train was a good move on Kentucky's Kingdom part, as Thunder Run is not talked about often, and this new train should improve the ride experience.
